On February 26, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with Mr.Abdullah bin Zarah, the newly appointed Deputy Minister for Economic and Development Affairs of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Chang Hua made a brief introduction on the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Economic Work Conference. He emphasized that China's economy has maintained stable and rapid growth, with high-quality development being solidly advanced, green and low-carbon transition comprehensively accelerated, and reform and opening-up continuing to advance to higher levels. China stands ready to further deepen the alignment of the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, and work together with Saudi Arabia to foster a more inclusive and equitable model of economic globalization.

Deputy Minister Zarah noted that Saudi-China relations have flourished in recent years, with strategic mutual trust being continuously deepened and practical cooperation accelerating across all sectors. Saudi Arabia is committed to further implementing the key consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, enhancing communication and coordination with China under the frameworks of major international economic platforms and organizations, and jointly elevating Saudi-China cooperation to new heights.
