On April 15, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with the Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) H.E. Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi

Ambassador Chang Hua introduced the guiding principles of China's Central Conference on Work Relating to Neighboring Countries, reaffirming China's commitment to fostering a community with a shared future for mankind and willingness of deepening strategic mutual trust with GCC member states, enhancing development cooperation and jointly safeguarding regional peace and stability. China is willing to broadening cultural and people-to-people exchanges with GCC member states and implement key results of the China-GCC Summit to further elevate bilateral relations.  

H.E. Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi expressed the willingness of GCC to strengthen collaboration with China at all fields and fully implement the consensus reached by leaders of both sides to promote the strategic partnership to a higher level.
