On October 29, 2024, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua attended the opening ceremony of the 8th Future Investment Initiative Conference.

Ambassador Chang held discussions with Saudi officials, including Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, exploring ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in relevant fields. Ambassador Chang also met with leaders from several Chinese companies participating in the conference, listening to updates on their collaborations with Saudi partners and encouraging them to seize opportunities to contribute to linking the Belt and Road Initiative with Saudi Vision 2030. The ambassador Chang also accepted media interviews on the spot.

The FII conference is one of the most influential gatherings in the global investment community. This year’s conference, held from October 29 to 31, centers on the theme "Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow," which brings together top leaders and decision-makers from various fields, including finance, technology, and sustainable development.
