On December 25, 2024, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with the Minister of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia , HE Faisal F. Alibrahim.

Ambassador Chang Hua introduced the guiding principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and China's Central Economic Work Conference. He said that China's economy has a stable foundation, numerous strengths, remarkable resilience and vast potential. The dominating trend of a sound Chinese economy for the long term and the elements supporting it have not changed. China is willing to strengthen practical cooperation with Saudi Arabia and jointly promote high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and alignment with the Saudi Vision 2030.

Minister Faisal Alibrahim said that both Saudi Arabia and China are at critical stages of economic development. Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to Chinese market and is optimistic about the opportunities in China. He expressed the willingness to continuously deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields to benefit both two countries and peoples.
