On June 24, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua attended the premiere of Nezha 2 (Arabic-dubbed version) in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Abdullah Al-Eyaf, CEO of the Saudi Film Commission, as well as representatives from the General Authority of Media Regulation, the Cultural Development Fund, and the local film distribution company also attended the event.

Ambassador Chang Hua was interviewed by multiple mainstream media at the event. He said that this year marks the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Saudi Arabia and the first "China-Saudi Arabia Year of Culture". The release of Nezha 2 represents a new achievement in cultural exchanges between the two countries. China is looking forward to further strengthening cooperation between the two countries’ film industries and enhancing mutual understanding and mutual learning between the two peoples.

The guests were deeply touched by the storyline of Nezha 2 and praised its stunning visual effects. The success of the film reflects the vigorous development of the Chinese film industry and the strong vitality of the film market. The guests are looking forward to seeing more excellent Chinese film and television works in Saudi Arabia.

The film will be released in major theaters in Saudi Arabia from June 26.
