On November 17, 2024, Saudi Arabia’s 9th National Quality Conference, with the theme of "Quality in the Era of Advanced Technologies", was held in Riyadh. China participated the conference as the Guest of Honor. Ambassador Chang Hua was invited to attend the conference.

Ambassador Chang exchanged views with Saudi Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi and others on strengthening economic and trade relations and cooperation in the field of quality inspection between the two countries.

In their speeches, Majid Al-Qasabi and Saad Al-Kasabi praised China’s economic development achievements and spoke highly of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and China. They expressed their willingness to work with the China to improve the reputation of Chinese products in the Saudi market.

Professor Zhu Fuxi from Wuhan University delivered the keynote speech at the opening ceremony. Experts and scholars in the fields of Chinese quality standards and artificial intelligence, as well as corporate representatives attended the meeting. Traditional Chinese dances were also performed at the opening ceremony.

Ambassador Chang Hua was interviewed by several Saudi mainstream media on the spot.
