On January 5, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.

Ambassador Chang Hua introduced China's policy on religion and the basic situation of Chinese Muslims. He appreciated the support and convenience that Ministry of Hajj and Umrah provided for the China Islamic Association in Hajj organization, and hoped that Saudi Arabia would offer better services and security protections for Chinese Muslims to complete the Hajj.

Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said that in recent years, China-Saudi relations have achieved healthy development continuously under the guidance of the leaders of both countries. Saudi Arabia is willing to provide more services and convenience for Chinese pilgrims and make efforts to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia.
