On January 4, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua paid a courtesy call on Saudi Minister of Health HE Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel.

    Ambassador Chang Hua briefed on the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, noting that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, the China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership has continued to expand and deepen, and that cooperation in the field of health has yielded positive results. He expressed China’s willingness to explore with the Saudi side ways to further expand exchanges and cooperation in areas such as pharmaceuticals, science and technology, and personnel training.

    Minister Fahd spoke highly of China’s achievements in the development of its health sector and expressed his hope to strengthen practical cooperation with the Chinese side in this field.
