In order to further facilitate visa applicants traveling to China, from now until 31 December 2026, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will exempt all applicants for short-term visas with a stay of no more than 180 days from fingerprint collection.

Applicants for D, J1, Q1, S1, X1 and Z visas, who are required to apply for residence permits after entering China, shall still be subject to fingerprint collection in accordance with relevant regulations.
