On June 15, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji.

They exchanged views on the current regional situation and China-Saudi bilateral relations.

Ambassador Chang Hua said that the regional situation is at a critical and sensitive moment. China stands ready to maintain communication with relevant countries and continue to play a constructive role to ease tensions.

Eng. El-Khereiji expressed that Saudi Arabia values China's influence and role in international affairs and is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with China.
