On July 9, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with CEO of Expo 2030 Riyadh Company, Engineer Talal bin Hussein Al-Marri.

Ambassador Chang said that the World Expo has a broad international influence. It is a stage for countries to showcase their economic development achievements, scientific, technological innovation  and national culture. It is also an important platform for promoting international exchanges and cooperation. China supports Saudi Arabia in successfully hosting Expo 2030 Riyadh and believes that Saudi Arabia will bring a wonderful event to the world. China successfully hosted the World Expo 2010 Shanghai and is willing to share the experience with Saudi Arabia.

Engineer Talal Al-Marri introduced the functions and business of the Expo 2030 Riyadh Company and the preparations for the World Expo to Ambassador Chang Hua. He said they hope to learn from China's experience in hosting large-scale international exhibitions. He also welcomes Chinese companies to actively participate in the construction of the World Expo and he sincerely invites China to participate in the Expo 2030 Riyadh to share opportunities and achievements.
