On September 30, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua presented his letter of credence to Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

    Ambassador Chang Hua conveyed President Xi Jinping’s warm greetings to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed. He stated that China has always placed great importance on developing its relations with Saudi Arabia. In recent years, with the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, the relationship between China and Saudi Arabia has continued to deepen, writing a new chapter of unity, cooperation, and mutual benefit among developing nations. Ambassador Chang Hua expressed his great honor in serving as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and pledged to fully implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, contributing to the further consolidation and development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia.

    Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman requested that Ambassador Chang Hua convey the high esteem of King Salman and himself to President Xi Jinping. He welcomed Ambassador Chang Hua’s assumption of duties and expressed his expectation that the Ambassador would play an active role in promoting the development of Saudi-China relations.

    Ambassador Chang Hua arrived in Saudi Arabia on May 10, 2024, to assume his post.
