On July 28, 2024, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua, upon invitation, visited the headquarters of Saudi Aramco in Dammam and met with the company's President and CEO, Amin H. Nasser.

Ambassador Chang Hua introduced the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, stating that China's further comprehensive deepening of reforms will bring greater opportunities for aligning the Belt and Road Initiative with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. He expressed China's willingness to strengthen communication and exchange with the Saudi government and relevant enterprises to promote more fruitful practical cooperation in energy and petrochemicals fields.

Amin H. Nasser introduced the basic situation of Aramco, highly praised the great achievements of China's reform and opening up in the new era, and stated that Aramco is committed to deepening its presence in the Chinese market and will continue to advance cooperation with China.
