On July 29, 2024, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region.

Ambassador Chang introduced the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, indicating that China is linked to the world through reform and opening up, and China's development also represents an opportunity for the global community. China is eager to enhance the synergy between the "Belt and Road" initiative and Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" to foster greater progress in the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

Prince Mohammed stated that the frequent high-level and sub-national level exchanges in recent years have demonstrated the high valuation and strong willingness of the leaders of both countries to advance relations between China and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is keen to further deepen practical cooperation with China and to elevate the bilateral relationship to new levels.
