On June 30, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua visited the King Abdulaziz Public Library upon invitation and met with H.E. Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muaammar, the Supervisor General of the Library (Ministerial Level).

Ambassador Chang Hua said that during the visit to China in 2017, His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud specially attended the inauguration ceremony of King Abdulaziz Public Library Branch in Peking University, leaving an indelible chapter in  educational and cultural cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia. China is willing to strengthen ties with relevant Saudi institutions,continue to promote cultural exchanges and dialogues between the two countries, and lay a solid humanistic foundation for bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Mr. Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muaammar fondly recalled the establishment process of the King Abdulaziz Public Library Branch in Peking University, and said that the library attached great importance to book translation and cultural cooperation with China. He expressed the Library’s commitment to making greater contributions to promoting exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and Saudi civilizations.
