    Ambassador Chang stated that with the recent escalation of regional tensions, the Party and the government are deeply concerned about the safety of overseas compatriots. Upholding the principle of "diplomacy for the people" has always been the unwavering tenet of China's diplomacy. The Chinese Embassy and Consulate in will continue to provide necessary assistance and consular services to overseas Chinese in Saudi Arabia. Overseas Chinese themselves must also strengthen their awareness of safety precautions, remain rational, closely monitor the situation, abide by local laws and regulations, and ensure their personal and property safety.
