On September 7, 2026, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia H.E. Chang Hua met with CEO of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) H.E. Abdulaziz Alswailem, to exchange views on cooperation between the two countries in the field of intellectual property.

Ambassador Chang noted that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, the China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership has continued to deepen, yielding positive results in cooperation across various fields. China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the field of intellectual property, promote the better utilization of intellectual property to serve scientific and technological innovation as well as economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, and create a favorable development environment for Chinese enterprises in Saudi Arabia.

H.E. Alswailem stated that Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to intellectual property protection and its role in promoting innovation and development. He expressed hope to strengthen the exchange of experiences with China in relevant fields and is willing to provide support and facilitate the development of Chinese enterprises in Saudi Arabia.
