On June 21, 2026, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua paid a courtesy call on H.E. Eng. Abdullah Amer Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

Ambassador Chang Hua stated that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, the China-Saudi Arabia relations have entered their best period in history. China is willing to take the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership as an opportunity to further consolidate strategic mutual trust with Saudi Arabia, synergise development strategies, and work together to advance practical cooperation in all fields. China is committed to creating new platforms for global governance and is willing to work with all relevant parties to practice true multilateralism and actively promote the reform and improvement of the global governance system.

Minister Alswaha stated that Saudi Arabia highly appreciates China’s development achievements. He expressed Saudi Arabia’s willingness to work with China to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen cooperation in relevant fields, and constantly inject new impetus into the Saudi-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership.
