On September 8, 2026, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia H.E. Chang Hua visited the headquarters of Arab News and met with Editor-in-Chief Faisal J. Abbas.

Ambassador Chang Hua noted that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, the China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership has continued to deepen, yielding positive results in cooperation across various fields. As a highly influential media outlet in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, Arab News has consistently paid close attention to and reported on China and the development of China-Saudi Arabia relations, playing a significant role in fostering people-to-people bonds between the two countries. Chinese Embassy is willing to continue maintaining close communication and cooperation with Saudi media outlets, including Arab News, to advance China-Saudi Arabia relations to new heights.

Mr. Faisal provided Ambassador Chang Hua with an overview of Arab News and expressed his willingness to strengthen coverage of the development of bilateral relations and practical cooperation across various fields, serving as a bridge for communication and friendship between the two countries’ peoples.
