On December 4, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Chang Hua, met with Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary-General of the OIC in Jeddah.

Ambassador Chang Hua said that an OIC delegation had recently concluded a successful visit to China. During the trip, the delegation witnessed firsthand the developmental achievements and the scene of ethnic unity in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on its 70th anniversary. Ambassador Chang Hua also expressed confidence that the visit has enhanced understanding and recognition of the Chinese government's policies on ethnic and religious affairs among OIC member states.
Ambassador Chang Hua also briefed on the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He highlighted that the formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan provides a strategic blueprint for China's economic and social development and presents fresh opportunities for deepening win-win cooperation between China and Islamic countries.

Secretary-General Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha spoke highly of China's policies on ethnic and religious affairs and its approach to governance in Xinjiang. He spoke positively of China's firm commitment to expanding high-standard opening-up and sharing its development opportunities with the world. He expressed that the OIC is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with China across various fields.
