On December 25, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative of China to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H. E. Mr. Chang Hua, visited the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA) in Jeddah, where he met with H. E. Mr. Mohammed Abd Rabbo Al-Yami, Director General of UNA. On behalf of the Chinese Embassy, Ambassador Chang Hua donated a batch of office equipment to the organization.

During the meeting, Ambassador Chang Hua briefed on the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy. He noted that China attaches great importance to exchanges and cooperation with the OIC and its affiliated institutions, and commended UNA for its positive role in promoting China–OIC friendship and cooperation as well as in introducing China’s major initiatives and visions to the Islamic world.

Mr. Al-Yami expressed his appreciation to the Chinese Embassy for the donation of office equipment, noting that it vividly reflects the longstanding friendship between China and Islamic countries as well as the sound development of bilateral relations in various fields. He highly commended the global significance of the major initiatives and visions put forward by China, and said that media organizations of OIC member states stand ready to continue efforts to enhance mutual understanding and advance exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations.
