On September 28, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua attended the opening ceremony of the "Sound of Harmony: A Journey Through Ancient Chinese Music" exhibition at the National Museum of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh and delivered a speech. Ms. Mona Khazindar, Adviser to Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture, Mr. Chen Chengjun, Executive Deputy Director of the National Museum of China, and around 200 guests from Saudi cultural and art fields and the diplomatic corps attended the ceremony.

In his speech, Ambassador Chang Hua said that, as a key project celebrating the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Saudi Arabia and the "China-Saudi Arabia Culture Year," the National Museum of China has brought over 100 treasured ancient Chinese musical instruments.These ancient instruments showcase the unique charm of Chinese culture and witness the profound journey of exchange and integration among civilizations. He expressed his hope that the exhibition would help more people in Saudi Arabia understand China and write a new chapter in the people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

The attending guests spoke highly of the exhibition, expressing their desire to further strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia to promote greater mutual understanding between the two peoples.
