On October 5, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua Meets with Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser. Deputy Minister and President of the Transport General Authority Rumaih Al-Rumaih, as well as Minister Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy He Song, attended the meeting.

Ambassador Chang Hua emphasized that China remains firmly committed to promoting an open world economy, sharing opportunities, and achieving mutual benefits through openness. He stated that China is ready to further align the Belt and Road Initiative with Saudi Vision 2030, expand practical cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia in the fields of transport and logistics, and contribute to the high-quality development and shared prosperity of both countries. He also expressed the hope that Saudi Arabia would provide a fairer and more favorable business environment for Chinese enterprises operating in the Kingdom.

Minister Saleh noted that there is great potential for cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China in the fields of transport infrastructure and investment, and he welcomed Chinese companies to invest and do business in Saudi Arabia.
