On May 20, 2025, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with the Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) H.E. Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi.

Ambassador Chang Hua congratulated the GCC on its 44th anniversary and emphasized China's willingness to strengthen communication and coordination with the GCC member states to deepen and solidify practical cooperation across various fields, bringing greater benefits to both peoples.
