On February 5, the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with the Chairman of the Saudi Allegiance Commission, H.R.H. Prince Mishaal. They exchanged views on promoting Sino-Saudi relations especially economic cooperation.
Mr. Yang denoted that the two countries enjoyed very close economic and trade ties in recent years, which served as the major driving force for the development of bilateral relations. He stressed that the Chinese government encouraged cooperation between enterprises from both countries and promote mutual friendship to a new height.
Prince Mishaal spoke highly of China's outstanding achievements in economic development. He denoted that Saudi Arabia would like to learn successful experiences from China and make the Saudi economy leap forward. He also expressed his wishes to strengthen cooperation with large Chinese enterprises in the areas of finance and trade.
