Saudi Minister of Communication welcomed Chinese enterprises' participation in the construction of Saudi communication

  On January 13, the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with the Saudi Minister of Communication, H.E. Mr. Mohammad Bin Jameel Bin Ahmed Mulla. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in the area of communication.

  Mr. Yang denoted that it had witnessed a new era of Sino-Saudi relations featuring rapid and all-round development since the exchange of visits between the head of state of China and Saudi Arabia in 2006. He emphasized that both China and Saudi Arabia were developing countries. The Sino-Saudi relations featuring mutual benefits and win-win results were based on mutual respect and non-interference in each other's internal affairs. He reaffirmed that China expected to make concerted efforts with Saudi Arabia to strengthen friendly cooperation in various fields. He pointed out that the Saudi economy had experienced rapid development in recent years. Chinese telecommunication companies would like to make further contribution to the construction of Saudi communication infrastructure.

  Mr. Mulla welcomed Mr. Yang Honglin's arrival as the new Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while spoke highly of China's economic achievements and the vital role China played in safeguarding world peace and stability. He emphasized that Chinese companies had already set up firm footholds in the Saudi markets and won the affirmation from all sides by high-quality products and services. The Saudi Ministry of communication expected to exert joint efforts with its Chinese counterparts to promote cooperation in the area of communication.
