On September 5, 2024, Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua met with the Minister of Commerce of Saudi Arabia Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.

Ambassador Chang Hua said that under the joint leadership of the leaders of China and Saudi Arabia, bilateral relations between the two countries have been developing rapidly. China is willing to strengthen trade and investment exchanges with Saudi Arabia, explore the potential for practical cooperation in traditional, emerging and future fields, and promote solid progress in our deepening comprehensive strategic bilateral relations.

Qasabi said that China is an important economic and trade cooperation partner of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is willing to synergize the Belt and Road Initiative and the Vision 2030 with China, and promote cooperation in various fields including economy and trade, in order to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
